This is an archived sermon of Dr. Carl Hatch. Dr. Carl Hatch was born Feb. 15, 1929, in Kennette, Missouri, to Luther and Viola Hatch. He was the youngest of seven children. On Sunday, June 14, 2009, he went home to be with Jesus at 4:22 a.m. He was a member of Southwest Baptist Church of Wichita Falls, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Raymond, Hershel, Jessie and Lloyd; his sisters Bessie and Mildred. His passing makes the family circle complete with all members in Heaven. He is survived by Ruby, his loving wife of fifty-seven years; his children, daughter Debbie Sorrells and husband Tommy of Argyle, Texas, daughter Helen Peck and husband John of Lawton, Texas, son Allen and wife Tammie of Abilene, Texas, son John and wife Dawn of Wichita Falls, Texas; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. After service in the U.S. Army during the Korean War era and meeting his wife Ruby, he was wonderfully saved June 8, 1955, while working for General Motors in Flint, Michigan. He immediately began winning souls and working for the Lord while attending Midwestern Baptist College in Pontiac, Michigan. He was ordained September 7, 1957, and worked on the staff of Flint Baptist Temple in Flint, Michigan. During his fifty-two years of ministry, he was the pastor of churches in Fresno, California, and Hialeah, Florida. In 1971, he founded Andrew Evangelistic Association; launching a career of thirty-eight years of full-time evangelism. During these thirty-eight years, he preached in countless churches all over North America. Only God knows the number of souls saved as a result of his relentless zeal for the Lord’s work. |
