When Rev Ormerod heard that, in order to facilitate others, I had surrendered a couple of bookings I had made for Lord's Day, 13 January (the Sunday after our Ministers' Week of Prayer), he volunteered to come and preach in Londonderry that day.
He loved to visit our congregation. And we appreciated his presence.
Due to his home call in May 2013, the messages he preached on this occasion are the last he will deliver from our pulpit.
We pray that they will be used of God to bring many souls to Robert's Saviour - the One he lived to exalt and now lives in heaven to serve in joyful praise.
