Great Sermon! Thank you sermon audio for making all these sermons available to the public.
Thank you Dr McClellend for the timely reminder.
Yes one can never get close to GOD with pride lurking in the heart.Everything we have, the very breath we breathe comes from HIM.Humility itself is from him.HE REIGNS FOREVER!!!

Great Sermon! I liked this sermon so much that I had written a lengthy tome extolling its merits and then decided it was quite filled with my own self importance a.k.a. Pride. Suffice it to say that this is a sermon the haughty and puffed up Sinners of this world need to hear with their ears and understand with their hearts. It is sad to say that those who need most to hear about this most deadly and hidden destroyer of souls are those most blinded by prides dark and mesmorzing power. Truly, as Dr. McClelland said we have nothing at all to be proud of. Oswald Chambers said it well--"All heaven is interested in the cross of Christ, all hell terribly afraid of it, while men are the only beings who more or less ignore its meaning." "The wicked through the pride of his countenance will not seek after God, God is not in all his thoughts."

Right on Target! A message that all of us need to hear, and hear it often! What a sin this! God hates a "proud look" more than anything else, and indeed the Devil himself fell to his low estate by being "lifted up with pride." May grace have its perfect work to keep all of us humble at His feet! Thank you, Dr. McClelland, for this timely word.
