Suppose this very day you were caught up to heaven, as were Isaiah, Paul and John, then sent back to resume your life here. How would your experience in glory change your life on earth? This is the first in a two part series on heaven intended to remind the believer of the glories awaiting us, and that, on the authority of Jesus Christ, we may be as assured of heaven now as we would be if we saw it for ourselves.

Great Sermon! "...My hope for eternity rests in Thy hand,
My heart deeply longs for that fair better land,
Where one day complete in Thyself I shall stand;
My hope, my hope is in Thee."
Oh! Christ , My only hope, my strength , my comforter... My all in all.
Thank you

Thank you for this beautiful sermon Dear Pastor Russ,
I wish to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your thought provoking, and powerful message. My mother passed away 15 years ago, just four month's after my husband and I were married. My father went home on December 21, 2012 after a long fight with leukemia and MERSA. I deal with doubt and despair on a daily basis, and I was just looking for a sermon to encourage me. By God's grace and guidance, I found your message, "In My Father's House." I was deeply moved and encouraged by your sermon, being reminded that this earth is but a vapor, that we are only here for a very short while, less than a blink in time, really. Thank you so much for reminding me of our eternal home, and for lifting my spirit. May God richly bless you and your family!
sincerely,
Patricia J.

Great Sermon! A very needed gut check!!! I always need to recalibrate and when I do, it makes the "hard" things in life a lot less painful, sometimes even joyful.

Great Sermon! Wow, did I ever need this sermon. I am an engineer and have been evangelizing at work and having some successes and some failures and a lot of "who cares", but just last friday 10/19/07 I was called into the "Big Wigs" office and reprimanded because I had offended one of the employees who is not a Christian. It shook me up so bad I didn't even eat that night. I spent most of the weekend wondering whether or not I would lose my job and if I did, how I would support my new wonderful, beautiful, sweet sweet wife. We both hope to be missionaries to Nicaragua when she graduates from college, and she is a great disciple of Christ. We both prayed and I came to work today trembling. I prayed particularly "Oh God, encourage me," and I just happened to click on your sermon here and I tell you I feel all the strength of the Spirit of God back in me. It just so happens ((or God just so did it)) that I have been doing an extensive study on Revelations hammering out every detail to try and understand. I realized after listening to your sermon that I have been focusing on all of the judgments of God and here are these FANTASTIC encouraging passages for the persecuted. What a shame it would be to do the work and forget the reward! Thank you for preaching. It blessed me today.
Sincerely,
-Scott
