These chapters are summed up as, "The Lord looked, saw, was appalled, put on righteousness, salvation, and vengeance." The Lord's people, world-wide, are threatened, oppressed, and harassed by opponents and defeated by sin, so He sets Himself to the task of their salvation and vengeance upon their enemies. What do we do when injustice seems to rule the day, truth and righteousness hide and have fallen, and those who stand for truth are targeted and become pursued as if they were prey?
