THE BIBLE'S STORY: Christ Our Savior Pt 2 39 ¶ So when they had performed all things according to the law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own city, Nazareth. 40 And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him." Luke2:38-40
This Lord's Day we will continue our series on THE BIBLE'S STORY, a survey of the major events that shape our understanding of the Scriptures and our place in the the world in which we live! All of history, both within the pages of Scriptures (and without) fits into this unfolding story of Redemption and are on the way to the final conclusion of God's purpose and plan.
This morning we continue our jump ahead jump in our timeline in THE BIBLE's STORY to the incarnation of the Lord Jesus! We will continue for the next month or so looking at the Christ Jesus and His work. The role of Christ is CENTRAL to the Bible's Story. In today's passage we look at Christ's childhood Anna especially how Jesus fulfills all the requirements of the law. Through Him salvation and full redemption from our sins and the Fall comes. This is THE STORY THAT MATTERS MOST. Be sure you're paying attention!
