We should all be glad that when we got saved we have been forgiven. We don't actually forget the sins when we forgive however; and frankly, neither does God. What we should do is to chose to not act upon the remembrance of the issue, just like He does. He will cleanse us of our sins when we ask and that is not His only action he also takes the mess away so we don't have to track it back with us.
