Having carefully set forth in Romans, Chapter 11, the wise ways of God in his redemptive purposes for both Israel and the Gentiles, Paul offers a doxology of praise for the incomprehensibility of God's counsel. In this doxology of praise, Paul seems overwhelmed not only by the scope of God's saving plan but by the riches of the grace and mercy that God has displayed! Truly, there is none so wise, gracious, and merciful as God, and his ways and judgments are beyond our capacity to comprehend and to judge. Therefore, our solemn duties as His creatures and His children are to submit to Him in all things and to extend to Him glory forever.
