By examining verses sometimes used by Arminians to defend the idea of losing salvation, we seek to show that the "freewill" position is neither Biblical, nor rational. What squares with Scripture and what makes coherent sense of reality is the Calvinistic doctrine of salvation being a sovereign work of God from beginning to end. He who chose us, bought us, and regenerated us will also keep us unto the end.
