When we see the kind of power that love has, then we understand why God says, it was not good for man to be alone. While he was alone, he had no one to love. While he had no one to love, he was bereft of power, only a shell of what he could be.
He was like Borat, getting into the car and having it pulled away by donkeys. Adam was created to have great cosmic power, to reflect the almighty himself. But he would never do that, until he had someone to love.
We are studying what is considered the fundamental passage on Christian marriage and we are not going to talk about marriage exclusively, but we are going to talk about friendship, the underlying need that marriage fulfills. I want you to understand this, you are incomplete and you will feel empty and un-whole until and unless you are loving someone openly.
