Series:A Faith That Works This message is about Disciplining Yourself by looking at the reflection from Gods Holy Infallible word. 3 PRINCIPLES FOR A DOER OF THE WORD 1. Talk Less, Listen More. Practice the Principle of Deliberation. Slow down. When you get an impulse to blow your top, or do anything a little foolish — apply the brakes and proceed with caution. Give yourself some time to think clearly. 2. Take a long look at who it is that God wants you to be. Practice the Principle of Reflection. Spend time in the Word. Focus on the person God wants you to be. Reflect on the Law of God, so your life will begin to reflect the presence of God. 3. Start Taking Care of Someone. Practice the Principle of Influence. Provide protective leadership to those who need you most. Be an influence in the world instead of influenced by the world.
