We have received many blessings from the hand of God as a nation and have much to give Him thanks for; yet as a nation we have not been living as those mindful of God's kindness to us and of our accountability to God. Instead, we have turned away from listening to God and His word into paths of unrighteousness.
One of the most aggravated sins of moral degeneracy of our nation is that of the unrequited blood of murdered multitudes. Our nation is stained with an ocean of blood that cries to God for His vengeance. In this opening up of God's Word to our nation, we hear God's rebuke and denunciation for our nation's aggravated sins and a call to repentance and prayer.

Great Sermon! I’ve listened to this sermon series by Pastor Martin more than once and it is so powerful. Today, as I was in my daily Bible reading in 2 Samuel 21:1, I immediately thought of this particular sermon and wondered God’s response. After all, God is the same, yesterday and forever.
Pastor Albert Martin is such a blessing to the kingdom of God, definitely to me!

sobering How much more innocent blood has been shed since this sermon was preached?!? America is covered in innocent blood, may God have mercy on America. As Albert Martin said, 'Lord, in wrath, remember mercy!'
May the elected officials of this nation do what is right concerning this matter, lest we face God's wrath.

Preached 31 years ago, still relevant I first listened to these four sermons one year after they were preached at the Midwest Reformed Baptist Family conference, Bluffton, OH. 1983 .I only knew of Pastor Martin for a few months. I am sure I have listened to a few thousand sermons since, I once gave 300 sermons away of some of these and other sermons in 1 year. But 30 years later I don't know of four sermons that exist on cassettes, and now mp3, that are as powerful. I am only drawing attention to them here because comparatively, they haven't been heard that much here.Just listened to the sermon Effective Fatherhood again by the same preacher. It is devastating to my innate self righteousness but that is why the reason to hear these things. To throw me to the feet of the Savior again and again that He would - as Thomas Brooks would say- pick me up in the arms of mercy.

Great Sermon! Pastor Martin is a modern day Puritan in his hunting down of sin, thoroughness and specific application .This is another sermon that does not miss the mark.
Powerful and convicting
