The Law of Moses was temporary, by God's design, and Christians look to Christ as their Lord and Lawgiver. While those who hold to Covenant Theology divide the Law into moral, ceremonial, and civil aspects, the Scriptures themselves never do this. Rather they treat the entirety of the Law as a unit. The Ten Commandments cannot be separated out and declared to be the 'eternal moral law' because the Bible nowhere does this. Christ fulfilled it all and we find our Sabbath rest in Him.
