CHARLES HADDON SPURGEON ON READING
'As the apostle says to Timothy, so also he says to everyone, 'Give yourself to reading.' He who will not use the thoughts of other men's brains proves that he has no brains of his own. You need to read. Renounce as much as you will all light literature, but study as much as possible sound theological works, especially the Puritanic writers, and expositions of the Bible. The best way for you to spend your leisure is to be either reading or praying.'

Great Sermon! Thank you so much for doing this important, well-researched and eye-opening series explaining the reasons for abandoning, rejecting and condemning unsanctioned “holy days,” including those given us by Rome. I so hope and pray this alarm will be heard world-wide, and that this position will be adopted by the leaders of professing assemblies everywhere. May God deliver His people everywhere from Rome’s Satanic influence and instead bless this faithful ministry shared here on Sermon Audio with fruitfulness. May God provide sufficient training of men that results in more faithful men who call for full separation from Rome (including from its unauthorized worship and pagan “holidays”) planting and leading churches around the world. May God open eyes and be glorified!

Timely Reminder! On the Lord's Day, I first listened to Pastor Dilday on the 'Unity of the Church'. In light of the present danger, it is hard not to understand that unity's importance. What then is the basis for this 'Unity in the Truth'? This series I'd imagine was the answer to that question, seeing I listened to the last first, which was a summary of the whole topic.
However, in this sermon series I began with the first in the series in order. What a important message for anyone interested in a unity grounded in Scripture and Church History. He plainly and primarily uses the Scripture to ground his arguments, nevertheless he is not ashamed of the faithful reformers of the past and their accomplishments on behalf of the true church that is one. See Eph 4:1-16; Mat 24:5,6;11-14; Rev 19:9,10
It seems to me that a right view of Scripture which includes the prophetic parts are as vital as all of Scripture is in order to associated with the true Church and to disassociate with the Roman apostasy in the church of the earth.
See Rev 17:2; II Thes 2:1-12; II Tim 3:16

Great Sermon! Excellent . Coming out of Catholicism I still wonder why some Protestants stll do what the Catholics do . This is an excellent series and needs to be spread among all the pastors to tell and share with church members why not to celebrate Christmas
