A woman of Canaan desperately sought help from Jesus. Because she was not a Jew it looked like she had little hope of finding favor and help from the Lord. But this woman of Canaan understood much more than that rich young ruler who came to Jesus and went away sorrowful. First, she recognized and confessed who Jesus really was. Second, she did not try to negotiate or seek for something to "do", but simply worshipped Him, even when He refused to speak to her, and then referred to her as a dog. She just cast herself on his mercy and worshipped Him, and He responded by acknowledging her faith and granting her petition. This is the way to find favor, peace, and help from God.

Great Scripture I believe this woman was a Believer like the woman who believed she could just touch the hem of Jesus's garment and be healed
She knew just the crumbs from the Masters table was enough to heal her daughter. A lesson in Humility.
