If I was to summarize Moses's life in the 40 year sections I would summarize it this way.
Moses went from EDUCATION to HIBERNATION then to TRANSFORMATION.
Education in all the ways of Egypt. Hibernation in the back blocks of Midian. Transformation as God molded him to be the deliverer and leader of God's people.
In Hebrews 11 it is clear that Moses's Faith caused him to do a number of things:
Heb 11.24: Moses renounced his position in Egypt: Heb 11.25: Moses renounced the pleasures of Egypt: Heb 11.26: Moses renounced the possessions of Egypt:
Think about Moses's position: Imagine all the rights Moses had in being the Son of Pharoah's daughter. Moses had the world at his feet. Power, Prestige and possessions. Yet he renounces it.
