Man has cried for peace in world since the beginning of time, yet has there is no peace. It is now June 2016, and though we may describe our time as the "age of knowledge", and though we may be a global society, the human race does not appear to be any closer to peace. In fact, there seems to be more contention than ever. For our first-hour service, Pastor Simpson reminded us that, but by God's grace, none of us would find peace. Our son's and our daughters may sit under the sound of the gospel, but without the Spirit of God moving on their hearts, they stand little chance to know the peace of God! May we pray for our children and ourselves to find our peace in the finished work and gospel of the Lord Jesus
