Thought invoking! A very thought invoking sermon on the subject of music. Even secular studies show the danger of rock music.

Solemn, Sobering, and Necessary! Thank God for this type of preaching! I became a listener of rock music in the early '80s. I idolized it; it truly is like a drug. As the decade progressed, I was increasingly weighed down with heaviness and despair. By the decade's end, I was hospitalized for depression and on anti-depressants. This music is devilish and my listening to it drove me to this low point. Thankfully, the Lord preserved my physical life. About six years after that, He saved me and one of the first things I did was get rid of the compact discs, cassettes, albums, and VHS cassettes. Still, I'm haunted by memories to this day and when I go out in public, that wicked music is everywhere! In the Lord's strength, I bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (II Cor. 10:5) and think on these things which I should (Phil. 4:8). I pray that my mind would be stayed upon the Lord. Keep yielding yourself to the Lord and letting Him use you to preach these kinds of sermons. May God be praised!

The Truth about Music . . . This was an excellent message about rock and pop music in our day and the soul-damning effects it has on people. It is extremely pertinent in our day when so-called Christians listen to and promote popstars who support perversion, such as Katy Perry and Taylor Swift. I recommend all Bible-believing Christians give this to their pastor.

Great Sermon! This is so true. Makes a lot of sense. I get it. "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC used to be one of my favorites. Two suicide attempts. Then came confession and redemption by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Now worldly music is repellent to me. No, your message is not weird to me--a deeply contrite Bible-believing Christian--it is plain-spoken Biblical truth.

Stunned! There's a lot of teaching online about the dangers of worldly and wicked music but the delivery of this message was powerful and very sobering.
