A. D. Muse was one preacher that Bro. Barnard loved as no other. Muse often said, "We are not saved to serve but to bring glory to God." Barnard said, "That statement is blessed truth, and yet it is not true. I am so tired of so many people giving the implication that one can be saved for Heaven and yet never enlisted in the service of Christ here in the world. That is not so!"
We are only here for one purpose and that is to represent HIM β and this is true of ALL saved persons. If you are not concerned to represent Him, you are not saved. The one thing that makes you "tick" ought to be DOING THE WILL OF GOD!
Hear this message that challenged a great number of people, preachers, Bible college students, and people of the greater Houston area, when it was preached at a Bible Conference, sponsored by Greenwood Baptist Church in Pasadena, Texas circa 1966.
