Jesus: Saviour With Bad Publicity We know that Jesus is known as The Man of Sorrows in Isaiah 53. We also know that because Salvation is only found in Jesus Christ, it means that Jesus is The Saviour with bad publicity. In John 15, particularly John 15:18-27, Jesus warns His Disciples that the world will hate them as the world hated Jesus. We know that Jesus had bad publicity when He first came, and to this day, as we are preparing for His Future Coming, He still has bad publicity. The secular antichrist worldly "heroes" may have good publicity with the majority, but Jesus had bad publicity with the majority. This sermon shows that Jesus came as The Meek and Lowly Servant undesired by the very people of the world. A sermon like this is needed in response to the antichrist secular "heroes" lauded by the masses.

A Response To Zach Snyder's Justice League Given the recent release of Zach Snyder's Justice League on March 18, 2021, this sermon called Man of Steel: Man of Sin is as relevant as it was when it aired on SermonAudio on June 24, 2013. Zach Snyder's Justice League is connected with the imaginary DC Extended Universe which began with Man of Steel on June 24, 2013. While Batman Forever (1995) and The Phantom (1996) were more ridiculous than Man of Steel (2013) and Zach Snyder's Justice League (2021) combined, both Batman Forever (1995) and The Phantom (1996) had antichrist superhero themes. Another difference between Man of Steel (2013) and Zach Snyder's Justice League (2021) is that Man of Steel was rated PG-13, whereas Zach Snyder's Justice League (2021) was rated R. The real issue with both Man of Steel (2013) and Zach Snyder's Justice League (2021) is that both stories are centered around antichrist superheroes, especially since this man of sin called Superman is featured in Zach Snyder's Justice League (2021). A sermon like this is also needed in response to the Marvel Cinematic Universe mini series called WandaVision.

Antichrist Superman: Popular in Asia It also ought to be noted that this antichrist called Superman is also popular in Asia as well. Not surprisingly, the Chinese name of a superman is chāorén 超人. In Japanese, it is chōjin 超人 (ちょうじん). In Korean, it is choin 초인. In Tagalog, it is higtao. In Vietnamese, it is siêu nhân. This shows that the antichrist spirit of Friedrich Nietzsche's Übermensch has now become a worldwide philosophy of a coming secular world "hero". Of course, this secular world "hero" is really the antichrist man of sin. This sermon is needed in response to this superman craze of a secular world "hero." Of course, the philosophy of the Übermensch originated in Genesis 3:1-24. This is because the idea of being a secular "world hero" deifies sinful humans to the point of hero worship. There needs to be more sermons confronting the issue of the "superman" and this sermon on SermonAudio is just that.

Remembering Zechariah 11:17 It is worth noting Zechariah 11:1-17, particularly Zechariah 11:17, since it warns about the coming antichrist.

Superman: Sinfully Violent Hero It ought to be noted that Superman is really a sinfully violent hero, especially since he is a major character in a 2008 video game called Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. While Superman was depicted as supposedly "virtuous" in Superman: The Animated Series (06 September, 1996 to 12 February, 2000) and Superman Returns (2006), the version of Superman in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe (2008) and Man of Steel (2013) were darker and more violent in character. Of course, Superman has always been justifying sin, including sinful violence, in the name of "saving the world". This helpful sermon was released in response to the film called Man of Steel on 10 June, 2013. As demonstrated in this sermon, Superman, the Man of Steel, is really an antichrist man of sin. Also helpful were the references to 2 Thessalonians 2:1-17 and Daniel 2:1-49.

Everything Wrong With Superman This sermon shows everything wrong with Superman and superheroes. Sadly, many evangelicals are crazy about superheroes as the unbelieving world is. This sermon clearly shows that Superman and other superheroes are tools of Satan for stealing people's hearts from Jesus. There is something wrong with costume clad sinners called superheroes "saving" the world when Jesus Christ is The Only Saviour of The World. It is worth noting The Example of Jesus in Isaiah 53:1-12 as well. These superheroes like Superman are symbols of antichrist because of their sinful pride as champions of the people. Then again, all superheroes have sinful pride in their heart. It is also worth noting 1 Samuel 17:1-58 in response to this craze over worldly champions of the people called superheroes. It is also worth noting The Vine of Sodom in Deuteronomy 32:32 in response to the superhero craze, since Superman's costume as with those of all other superheroes looks like the costume worn an a LGBT Pride event.

Superheroes: Just Like King Saul In 1 Samuel 8:1-22, the people of Israel reject Jehovah The King in favor of a temporal human king. Continuing in 1 Samuel 9:1-27, the people of Israel choose Saul as their king given his goodly appearance and higher stature than most people. Like King Saul, superheroes are well received by the majority of people as champions reflecting the collective will of the people. The reality is that superheroes, like King Saul, are really antichrists. As shown in this sermon, Jesus came as The Meek and Lowly Shepherd. It is also worth noting the example of Jesus in Isaiah 53:1-12. This sermon shows that it is better to be a humble shepherd than a prideful superhero. Then again, all superheroes have sinful pride.

Superman: The Super Blasphemer The words of 2 Timothy 3:1-17 are a very sobering response to the Man of Steel movie. This sermon clearly shows that Superman (Kal-El) is really a super blasphemer. What is blasphemous about Superman and other superheroes is that these costume clad sinners are treated as "saviors of the world" when only Jehovah declared in Isaiah 43:11 that beside Me, there is no saviour. This sermon primarily elaborates on Superman because this sinner in blue spandex is highly esteemed by the masses as a "savior" that the people of the world admire. Superman is really a super blasphemer as are all superheroes. As we know, humanism is blasphemy against Jehovah, and Superman is clearly a reflection of that blasphemous humanism. It is also worth noting Hebrews 11:1-40 in response to this blasphemous craze called superhero media.

Superman The Super Witch This sermon also shows that Superman (Kal-El/Clark Kent) is really a super witch. All of Superman's abilities like superhuman strength and speed, flight, x-ray vision, heat vision, wind and freezing breath, super hearing and sight, and near invulnerability are all forms of Satanic witchcraft. In media, witches were depicted flying on brooms, but with Superman, he can fly without a broom. It should be noted that Superman was born with his Kryptonian powers, which means that Superman is really a witch by birth. Depicting Superman "saving the world" leads people to believe that evil witches can be defenders of the world. Superman, like all other superheroes, have only made the evils of witchcraft popular through their superpowers. A sermon like this is needed in response to the popularity of Superman the Super Witch.

Infowars: Favorable View of Man of Steel Surprisingly, Alex Jones (born 11 February, 1974) spoke favorably of the Man of Steel movie because of Superman's role as a liberator of humanity. As we know, InfoWars propagates a lot of silly conspiracy theories and because of its pro liberation activism, is preparing the world for the coming of the Antichrist. This sermon shows that Superman is a type of Antichrist trying to liberate humanity from The Righteous Authority of The Lord. There is also a lot of blasphemous and idolatrous imagery in Man of Steel like depicting Superman in a crucifixion pose, thus establishing Superman as a counterfeit savior of the world. Superhero media, including that of Superman, is loaded with idolatrous imagery in that superheroes like Superman are worshiped by sinful people seeking a sinful hero. Superman may be a popular "hero" to the masses, but he is really an antichrist usurper.

Lex Luthor: Witchcraft Practitioner It should be noted that Lex Luthor was inspired by witchcraft practitioner Aleister Crowley (12 October 1875 – 01 December 1947). Lex Luthor was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster under Satanic inspiration. Superman and Lex Luthor may square off with each other, but both of them are working for Satan's kingdom. This clearly demonstrates that even a supervillain without "superpowers" like Lex Luthor is just as much of a witch as Superman is.

A Response To The DC Extended Universe This sermon is also a response to the release of Man of Steel in 2013 as well as the beginning of the DC Extended Universe, which began that very same year. There is something wrong with these sinful "heroes" when they are lauded by the masses for their "heroism." This just shows that Superman and other comic book superheroes display sinful pride and idolatry since they are put on the pedestal for their acts of "heroism." Worth noting Isaiah 42:8 and Hebrews 11:1-40 in times where worldly "heroes" like Superman are put on a high pedestal. True Biblical Heroes realize that The Lord deserves all the credit.

Clark Kent/Kal-El: Superman of Satan This sermon plainly lays out why Clark Kent (Kal-El) is the Superman of Satan. It is worth remembering 2 Thessalonians 2 and Daniel 2 in times like these. As it looks, Superman is trying to "save the world", but he is trying to "save" a world which is in rebellion against Jesus Christ. Any so-called superhero, including Superman, is really of Satan. The "S" on Superman's insignia also means Satan, since that "S" closely resembles a dragon.

Taking the super out of Superman The world is looking for counterfeit saviours. While the Superman character is a product of human imagination, the counterfeit saviour that the world is really after is the Antichrist.
If there is one thing that the "S" in Superman stands for, it stands for super depraved.
