Aim: To practice pure worship of the Trinity as Christ's church, based on the word of God.
Exegesis: True worship demands our destruction of what is evil. The place for idols (vv. 1-2), the power of idols (v. 3), and the perversion of idols (v. 4) must be removed. True worship demands our love for what is good. We are to gather around (v. 5), fully adore (v. 6), and heartily enjoy (v. 7) our Lord Jesus Christ.
Key verses: vv. 4-5 ''You shall not worship the LORD your God with such things. But you shall seek the place where the LORD your God chooses, out of all your tribes, to put His name for His dwelling place; and there you shall go.''
