Here: the Most High God rules in the kingdoms of men.  To understand this properly, we must avoid making two errors in our explanation of the chapter. Daniel: God’s Antithetical, Indestructible, Triumphant Kingdom (6) The Most High God Ruling in the Kingdoms of Men 1) Men’s Kingdoms Depicted. a) The events recorded in this chapter teach us important lessons about the kingdoms of men. b) These events also teach us important lessons about the earthly kings who rule such kingdoms. 2) God’s Rule Manifested. a) In these kingdoms of men, Jehovah God rules as Most High. b) In two fundamental ways, Jehovah manifests this rule. 3) God’s Praise Elicited. a) The realization that Jehovah rules in the kingdoms of men elicits from the mouths of men the praises of Jehovah. b) If unbelievers praise Him with their mouths, how much more lovely is the praise of believers, coming from our hearts!
