We have been reminded throughout this series that we, the church, are 'one body in Christ' and, as the body of Christ, we are to love one another. But I wonder, when we gathering as one body for services of worship, how often do we think of singing to one another, or listening to what others are singing to us. Paul tells us in Ephesians 5 that this is very much part and parcel of being filled with the Spirit – addressing one another in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. What a gift the Lord has given us to encourage and edify one another in music and song!
