The greatest thing that a father passes on to his children is his name. His name is more than a surname, it is his reputation; his identity; the kind of person he is. Others will first judge who we are by who our father is – our family name. Young fathers would be wise to conduct their lives with this fact in view. They will make it easier or harder for their children by the name and reputation they leave them. Life is much less difficult for someone who knows the God of his father was Almighty God and not career, money, drugs, alcohol, gambling, worldly music, or immorality. Don't leave a polluted legacy like that for your children, and make their way harder in this corrupt sinful world.
