This sermon clearly demonstrates from the Word of God that the only baptism mandated is believer's Baptism. Which is only to be administered upon repentance toward God and Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 2:41 "Then they that gladly received his word were baptized" Romans 6:3-9, and Galatians 3:27 shows what Baptism's symbolic significance is, that the believer has died with Christ and is raised to newness of life. Thus to subvert this meaning and apply it to an infant is to pervert the Word of God. We are told that Baptism is "the answer of a good conscience". 1 Peter 3:21. Which an infant cannot attest to. The practice of infant baptism, is wholly unscriptural and is neither found nor supported in the Word of God, there is not a single instance in the Word of God where infant baptism may be cited. Well, if there is only one baptism Ephesians 4:5 and which has one meaning (see Romans 6:4-5) what then are the implications and consequences of misrepresenting baptism, and its qualified Scriptural meaning - from believers baptism to paedobaptism? The consequences are profound and most damaging to the Church. Sadly the underlying issues have not been thought through by many who profess to be reformed in doctrine. It has been well said that "All false doctrine, undermines Biblical doctrine", one of these doctrines is Limited Atonement the New covenant, wherein all that are in that covenant have God's Law written on hearts of flesh Jeremiah 31:31-34, and each shall know the Lord. Secondly God's eternal decree is to save His elect alone, and not to make an offer which He has no intention of fulfilling, but rather it is the will and the decree of God to save His elect alone.
