That was a question that people asked Jesus. Jesus answered, that we need to focus on our own salvation. It is not enough to have information about Jesus, we need to trust in Him. Being popular changes and crowds change. We are not to put our hopes in the affections of others. If our confidence is in anything but Jesus, we are lost.
