Material things do not matter as much as character. Whether the person is rich or the person is poor, the Lord is the Maker of them all. He has made each person and every life has value and purpose. We need to be prepared to obey the Lord, we are not to live recklessly, but prudently. If we know who God is and what God is like, we will be humble. In the path of the wicked there are all kinds of snares and we should stay far away from the wicked. We are not to flirt with sin or play around with sin. We should desire to be Holy and not see how close we can get to sin. We should be servant to the Lord, not other people that we owe money to. We can never out give God. We should not be the mocker or the person who starts trouble. Sexual sin is a hazardous sin that can jeopardize our eternal lives. Giving should be done for people we can actually help. If we exploit the poor to increase our wealth or if we give gifts to the rich to increase our own status, we will end up poor, God will see to it. We are not associate with a hot tempered man. We cannot give what we do not have. We are not to cheat people. We are to trust in the Lord instead. We should find something we are really good at and do it. If we do not do our best at what ever our job is, we are not honoring God. The purpose of the these instructions are so that your trust may be in the Lord.
