The motivation for our adoption stems from God's desire and design; from His love for us. We don't have to wait until we get to heaven to enjoy our inheritance and the benefits of adoption; they are available to us right here and now. Since God sees us through Jesus Christ there is no difference in how He loves us and how He loves His Son, Jesus Christ. Our testimony to the world of our adoption is that, were it not for grace, how lost we would be. It's a testimony of our adoration for our Abba, Father.
