In Leviticus 3:1-17 we are shown 5 laws concerning animals sacrificed as peace offerings. The animals may be cattle, sheep and goats. They must be without blemish. The worshiper must lay hands on the animal before killing it. Priests must throw the blood of the animal on the sides of the altar. Fat, kidneys, liver lobe and sheep's fat tail shall be burned by the priests as the Lord's food offering. All fat is the Lord's and for all generations you shall not eat fat or blood.
