We are instructed to get wisdom. God does not see things the way we do, but we should seek to see things the way He does. We must go through difficult times to be made whole and complete. If we are secure in Christ, our material wealth will not matter nor will it help us to become more secure in the world. Salvation is from the Lord. We need to pursue the will and the power of God and not the riches of this world. Wisdom causes us to rejoice while were are going through difficulties. Worldly wealth does not last. Our security is in Christ alone. All people have to go through trials. Those who are in Christ will persevere. We must hunger and thirst for righteousness. We are to love the Lord our God with all that we are. We must focus on the destination if we plan on getting there. We must focus on God and love Him. Then we will keep His commandments. In loving God, we will be changed by Him. He first loved us; therefore we can love Him. If our confidence is an anything but Jesus Christ, we will end up in Hell. Jesus is our only hope. God’s trials are a gift to make us complete and to make us more mature.
