A Christian is not owned, or possessed, by the enemy, however the devil can get a foothold. If we allow Satan setup a foothold, he will setup a base of which to operate from. Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy. The devil will entice us, give us free things, trying to hook and addict us. Just going to church does not make people Christians. It is about our relationship with Jesus Christ that makes someone a Christian. A good question to present to others is, Is Jesus Christ the Lord of your life? When people look to astrology for guidance (or anything else), those people have given demonic forces a foothold in their lives. Demons are real and if we engage in a pattern of sin, we are giving the devil a foothold in our lives. Sin, like Kudzu, will take over everything in our lives. Sin is serious. Satan knows our flesh patterns and he will seek to exploit them. The devil knows where we are coming from, however, he has not always been and he will be destroyed in the Lake of Fire. The origin of our thoughts are not always from us as in Matthew 16:13-23. Our natural way of operating in the flesh is animated by the forces of darkness. If we are going to be successful in our walk with Christ, we need to be able to put on the full armor of God and recognize the deadly attacks of the enemy. We need to know how to recognize the voice of the enemy. If we are struggling with sin in our lives, we are not alone.
