The Scriptures teach and encourage us to live each day with that day in mind– not only to be prepared, but to look forward to that day. As those who are in Christ, we need not be afraid or shrink bank from him in shame at his coming. Instead, we can be those who 'love his appearing' as we wait patiently for "our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ."
