Dave Hunt's attack on Calvinism & historic Reformed theology along with reviewing Hunt's very first book entitled "Confessions of a Heretic," which was first published in 1970. It was about Hunt's excommunication from the Plymouth Brethren after he "confessed" to speaking in tongues & being involved in Charismatic activities (Hunt mentions Kathryn Kuhlman in his book).
In late summer 2000 Dave Hunt appeared on radio KPXQ in Phoenix, Arizona with James White (you can hear that debate at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g58aJ...) & admitted in the radio program that he was "very ignorant of the Reformers" & "just doesn't know" & had to "pretend." Needless to say Dave Hunt was summarily Biblically destroyed in that debate on Calvinism but he was too proud to admit it. Instead, in less than a year & a half later in 2002 he puts out his "What Love is This? Calvinism's Misrepresentation of God" book as if he is a great scholar on the subject of Reformed Theology even though at the age of 73 or 74 a year & a half earlier he was "very ignorant" on the subject. How hypocritical can you get? Hunt's main gripe with Calvinism is its view that God is not totally loving toward every person thus God would have to be immoral and unjust. Hunt is named after Calvinist Charles Haddon Spurgeon. What an irony!
