This message was given by Pastor Jonathan Stobbs as he continued his morning ministry in the book of Nehemiah. Are you on fire for the Lord? Nehemiah returns to Jerusalem after a short period away. When he left the people had been spiritually awakened and committed themselves to walking in a manner pleasing to God. On his return he finds a practical and spiritual mess as the people had let their fire for God dim. As a result Nehemiah has to stir them up once again and point them back to God and where they should be. Pastor Stobbs specifically looks at the way that the people who committed to separate actually didn't. He looks at the mixed multitude, the enemy within, and then mixed marriages. The message is concluded around two passionate lessons that challenge the listener to not let their fire go out. He also challenges the church to be holy, separate, and worshipping and witnessing in a manner pleasing to the Lord. This is a powerful message. Are you lukewarm? Have you lost sight of Christ? You need to get right with Him and ask Him to enable you by His grace to be on fire for Him once more.
