The Seven Angels in Charge PT1 Revelation 8:1-13 God has just handed Jesus Christ the great book of destiny, the book that tells about the end of the world. Revelation 8 introduce seven angels who will sound their trumpets in Revelation 8-9. After the seventh seal is opened, John sees these seven angels who stand before God.God's holy angels will be extremely active in the end times. During the first half of the tribulation period, seven powerful angels will be in charge of the seven trumpet judgments that will bring seven calamities upon the earth, which is Satan's and the antichrist's kingdom Rev. 8:1,6. With each blowing of a trumpet by an angel, anew judgment falls upon the earth. These judgments will include hail and fire mixed with blood, the sea turning to blood, water turning bitter, various cosmic disturbances, affliction by demonic scorpions, and the death of a third of humankind Rev. 8:6–9:21.At the beginning of human history, heaven and earth were united because our first parents honored God and obeyed His will. Satan tempted them to focus on the earth; they disobeyed God; and ever since, a great gulf has been fixed between heaven and earth. This chasm was bridged when the Son of God came to earth and died for the sins of the world.
