This lecture is part two in a series of lectures on the history of the Reformations in England and Scotland. The purpose of these lectures is to examine attempts to Reform the churches in these regions prior to the Westminster Assembly. Marking out the areas where incomplete Reformation occurred will help shed light on the issues before the Assembly which it had to address in order to bring about the covenanted uniformity which the Long Parliament tasked the Assembly with providing.
