Sola Gratia. Grace Alone in the salvation of sinners. While this is a large subject with many angles I am restricting us to the subject by looking at Paul's conversion and his life after conversion in relation to the grace of God. Rome and others maintain God's grace in salvation, though they also in doctrine and practice also maintain it's insufficiency, i.e. God's grace must be supplimented. Since "for this cause I [Paul] obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a PATTERN to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting" we have taken the Conversion of Paul and his Life as a Converted Man to give a explanation of the Protestant doctrine of Sola Gratia. This sermon only deals with his conversion, the next one with his converted life.
