Message: He Who is Forgiven Little, Loves Little Luke 7:36-50 Stephen Corbitt
The Pharisee minimized his sin and therefore minimized his need for forgiveness. Because of this, his love was cold and aloof. But Jesus' approach to the sinful woman reveals that a deeper perception of sin opens one up to receive forgiveness found in him. The deeper the sin perceived, the greater the forgiveness received. And the greater the forgiveness perceived, the deeper the love flows.
