The 6th precept is really the first 'should not do this' precept. In its simplest form it does mandate man to not murder, this being the operative word rather than kill. However, this is not its final meaning. Christ taught the Jew, and through them, us, how to understand these precepts. This is often missed used by many groups, saved and lost, throughout the Church Age to support a variety of issues. However, as I discuss, we are all guilty of this precept from the moment of conception! I show how our society frequently violates this precept in its desire to 'appear' righteous. I am saddened by how degraded our society has become by promoting the abrogation of these precepts; that is, by upholding sin even amongst some Christians.
