Charity must adorn, motivate the best of our gifts, otherwise there will be no profit in them. To 'behave...unseemly' means to behave indsicreetly, or with bad judgment. As we exercise our gifts in charity, we want to be prudent. We must use our knowledge wisely. Our gift must be exercised with consideration to where the person is spiritually, what (s)he is going through at the time, the timing of the matter, and how it should be said or done.Consider Christ as He ministered to people--Nicodemus, the woman at the well, various blind men, etc. We need to pray for prudence and selflessness as we seek to minister to the needs of others and show them Christ. PS The second message (technically) in this series, Charity and Its Fruits, did not record. You may see my notes from this sermon at http://sovereigngracesermons.blogspot.com. We would so welcome comments from you. We are praying for you.
