Sermon text based on Acts 20: 35 - I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
What you have received of God by His grace, will affect what you give to God, by His grace. The apostle Paul's ministry & labour testify to the gospel of grace.
Herein, the apostle Paul sets a good example for us in our duty towards God. Are we sold out for the Lord who first loved us & gave himself for us?
We who are true believers in Christ have received of God, the same gift Paul had, the same Spirit, the same heavenly words. Are you dedicated to Lord in the life he has given you? Ephesians 4:28 - "Let him that stole steal no more".
Before conversion, we stole from God the glory due to His most Holy name. Now we give to God by grace, because we have received of God. A life for a life, no less.
