• God's is ABLE to do anything (Summation) Paul prays for the believers in Ephesus. (Ephesians 3:14 -21) Able—Having physical power sufficient; having competent power or strength, bodily or mental; Having strong or unusual powers of mind, or intellectual qualifications; Contrary to the name-it-claim-it crowd, our unlimited potential is 100% dependent upon God. We are going to consider what God is ABLE to do. Our unlimited potential resides with the Almighty and it completely dependent upon what He is ABLE to do. • God is ABLE to deliver from certain death—fiery furnace & Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego (Daniel 3:16-18) The uncertainty of whether or not God wills to deliver is why we fail to trust in Him. He has our best interest in mind and He can deliver, but will He? • God is ABLE to deliver from the mouth of the lion—Lion's Den & King Darius/Daniel (Daniel 6:20) • God is ABLE to create life from something inanimate (Matthew 3:7-9) Think about it, God created Adam from the dust of the ground. Is it too hard for him to turn a stone into a living being? • God is ABLE to stablish the believer (Romans 16:25) STABLISH, v.t. L. See Stab. To fix; to settle in a state for permanence; to make firm. In lieu of this, establish is now always used. • God is ABLE to keep our souls (2 Timothy 1:9-12) • God is ABLE to aid all those tempted (Hebrews 2:17-18) • God is ABLE to save to the uttermost (Hebrews 7:24-28) • God is ABLE to give us an inheritance (Acts 20:28-32) • God is ABLE to save and destroy (James 4:11-15) • God is ABLE to subdue all things (Philippians 3:20) • God is ABLE to keep us from falling (Jude 24) • Why no one can out give God (2 Corinthians 9:6-8)
