In this expository sermon Dr. Felker presents Paul's assertion that we are justified (made right) with God by faith in Christ's saving work rather than by our works, such as keeping God's Law. Paul gives two reasons why this is the way of salvation: 1) Salvation by faith glorifies God and excludes boasting. 2) Since God is the God of all humanity, salvation for the Jews and Gentiles must be the same, the way of faith. Finally, Paul refutes the belief that salvation by faith, not works, sets aside the Law. Instead, Dr. Felker gives four reasons why salvation by faith actually upholds the Law. This message was preached at Harvest Christian Fellowship where he serves as Interim Pastor.
