Humility vs pride (Proverbs 13:10), gentleness vs harshness (Prov 15:1, Prov 18:18) forbearance vs intolerance (Col 3:12-13) love vs selfishness (Phil 2:3-4) forgiveness vs bitterness (Col 3:13, Eph 4:31) Responding vs Reacting (Jam 1:19-20) patience and endurance (Prov 14:29, Eph 4:2, Rom 12:12). Other causes of conflict: Dismissing, lack of compassion, blame shifting, interrupting, manipulation, rash judgments, anger, sweeping generalizations, justification, defensiveness, biting sarcasm, deceitfulness, unreasonableness, scolding, hastiness, talking too much.
