As we focus on mothers today, we realize that it is the wise who are being honored - faithful, kind, sacrificial, submissive, shrewd, teachable, skillful, prudent and reverent. But as we examine our country today, we realize that it is the foolish who are being "honored" and encouraged in their ways - proud, independent, godless, dominant, disobedient, selfish, thoughtless and disrespectful. The wise produce lasting appreciation, while the foolish are forgotten. The world desires Jezebels, while God is seeking Sarahs... which one are you? |
