The repeated message of Ecclesiastes is: Old age comes, youth is short, so enjoy life. We have to keep in mind that God will judge us for what we choose to do, but we are to find enjoyment in our life. Old age can reduce our enjoyment. That should make us realize that it is not right to put off our enjoyment of our eternal life until later.
