Matthew 24 contains our Lord's longest prophecy. It is the longest prophecy in the New Testament, except the Book of Revelation. It has stirred more interest, controversy and has been the basis for more literature than any other one passage of scripture in the whole Bible. I do not claim to have the final word on this highly controversial portion of scripture, but I have studied it thoroughly and am convinced that there is a two-fold application of this prophecy. First, to the Jews living in the first century and then to the saints of God in all ages.
