At its core, our hearts are idol making factories. Jesus described how the temple would come down, something that some Jews held as an idol. We should be affected by the persecution of other believers. We must make up our minds now so that we do not to worry about the end times. We can help what we do when bad thoughts come. When people persecute us, we are to be witnesses of Jesus to them. If our lives are in Christ, nothing can harm us. We should live now in light of the future, great for those who know Jesus, dreadful for those who do not know Christ. We must not avoid persecution when obedience to God seems costly. We need to be able to stand in the day of evil and pray that God will give us the grace to do so. Jesus is coming, don't be afraid.
