Enoch was a man who lived in wicked times; just as we do today. But after a new birth in his life he was walking with God just as we should do in our new Christian lives. But he was a man who was not and we need to have some more “was not’s” in our lives. He was not distracted from preaching what thus saith the Lord. He was not distant in his walk; he was near God. He was not deficient in his time, knowing every lost moment is one less with God. He was not detoured by death. He didn’t go to heaven by way of the grave but was raptured out just as some of us may be when the Lord comes. But most of all he was not disregarded. Once he was gone people noticed and looked for him. When we are gone will people notice?
