What about Israel? One of the areas of knowledge that the Church is weak in...it is concerning Israel. The Reformation did not develop a comprehensive study of Israelology. This is due to their emergence from Romanism and their doctrine of Replacment Theology. So it took several centuries before this error was purged from some Protestants and Separatist from their eschatology. It would take another century for Evangelicals and Messianics to develop the study of Israelology. But centuries before Paul deal with his own Israelology in Romans 9-11.
